Each year, Tuscaloosa International Friends (TIF) hosts a variety of events to unite Local Friends and international students. In early August, students can pre-register online to receive furniture items for their new homes, followed by the Annual TIF Fall Kickoff in late August, where new students can meet and mingle.

Early in the fall semester, there's a chance for TIF students and families to meet with the president of The University of Alabama at a special president's reception hosted by the University. In late October, participants learn the American tradition of pumpkin carving.

Additionally, TIF hosts a grand shared meal at our Scholarship Banquet in February to celebrate reciepients of a TIF scholarship. To close the academic year, students and local friends enjoy outdoor activities at a fun spring picnic. Stay connected to learn about more events thorughout the year.
